DA VINCI

Positioned at the forefront of technology, Assuta hospitals employ some of the most advanced medical developments and equipment available today. One example of such is the medical robot "Da Vinci", which is used for laparoscopic operations, including in the treatment of prostate cancer, urological and gynecological procedures, as well as procedures in the abdominal cavity.

PET – MRI (ПЭТ – МРТ)

PET–MRI: A scanner that provides multimodal scanning capabilities, including parameters of functionality, anatomy and molecular processes. PET-MRI enables test completion within half an hour (previously the patient had to undergo two separate PET-CT and MRI exams).

INTRABEAM

INTRABEAM: Intraoperative radiotherapy - a new technology for patients with breast cancer. Allows the production of localised, single-dose radiation exposure in the process and after the operation, thereby reducing side effects and saving valuable time.

NANO - KNIFE

Nano–Knife: An innovative technology in the field of cancer treatment. Nano-Knife enables the treatment of tumours located near large blood vessels or in areas that are not operable. Thanks to this technology, a significant percentage of patients with pancreatic cancer as well as patients with tumours of the liver or intestines, who previously were considered inoperable, can now benefit improved health and prolonged lifespans.

TEM

TEM: A minimally invasive solution that uses a surgical rectoscope to remove some types of rectal polyps and colon tumours in their early stages. Advantages include increased accuracy in tumour removal, reduced risk of tumour recurrence and rapid recovery.

Diaphragmatic Stimulant

Diaphragmatic Stimulant: Applied to patients with traumas of the spine, chest, and amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS). This stimulator sends electrical stimulation to the diaphragm which causes it to contract. It provides respiratory support to patients, having a very positive impact on patients’ quality of life.

PCNL

PCNL (Percutaneous NephroLithotomy): Used in the removal of larger kidney stones (over 2cm in diameter) located within the kidney through a puncture in the lumbar region. This technique offers high success rates of nearly 100%.
